• Gotham City Runners is an OPEN running club, where the only competition is between you and the clock.  All are welcome:

    • Recreational to competitive, novice to sub-elite, high school to masters, road and track to trail, 800-meters to 100-miles ... we all run as one.

  • When participating in any Gotham City Runners event (training, volunteering, racing, socializing), we expect team members to conduct themselves in a manner that respects each individual, the environment being used, and GCR's reputation

    • Respect your fellow club members at all times

    • Respect the coaches who volunteer their time and expertise to help the club

    • Respect and show your appreciation for any volunteer within and external to the club, as well as other competitors and spectators at races

    • Never yell, taunt, or threaten physical violence upon another member of the club, a volunteer or event spectator (We reserve the right to ban members who engage in any threatening behavior)

    • Never use abusive or vulgar language, or make racial, ethnic or gender-related slurs or derogatory comments at club events

  • Gotham City Runners does not discriminate by age, religion, ethnic background, gender or sexual orientation

    • Members are expected to respect the age, religion, ethnic background, gender, and sexual orientation of other members.

    • We do not tolerate any behavior that could be construed as discrimination or sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is defined as “Unwanted sexual advances, or visual, verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature.”

  • Gotham City Runners is a sports and social club with a strong brand and good reputation.  When wearing GCR branded gear, members are effectively ambassadors for the club 

  • Members should report violations of this Member Code of Conduct policy to the Gotham City Runners Board in writing
