Gotham City Runners is an OPEN running club, where the only competition is between you and the clock. All are welcome:
Recreational to competitive, novice to sub-elite, high school to masters, road and track to trail, 800-meters to 100-miles ... we all run as one.
When participating in any Gotham City Runners event (training, volunteering, racing, socializing), we expect team members to conduct themselves in a manner that respects each individual, the environment being used, and GCR's reputation
Respect your fellow club members at all times
Respect the coaches who volunteer their time and expertise to help the club
Respect and show your appreciation for any volunteer within and external to the club, as well as other competitors and spectators at races
Never yell, taunt, or threaten physical violence upon another member of the club, a volunteer or event spectator (We reserve the right to ban members who engage in any threatening behavior)
Never use abusive or vulgar language, or make racial, ethnic or gender-related slurs or derogatory comments at club events
Gotham City Runners does not discriminate by age, religion, ethnic background, gender or sexual orientation
